Architecture & Commercial Scope
Built and deployed a high-performance production travel portal allowing Plan My Tours administrators to dynamically create, edit, and publish tour offerings, itineraries, pricing schedules, and photo galleries without touching code, synced in real-time to a global Cloudflare edge cache.
The Challenges Before Engineering
- Legacy website was static and required manual developer intervention for every tour date, itinerary edit, and seasonal price change.
- High latency and sluggish page loads for international travel seekers browsing heavy multi-media tour photo galleries.
- Customer booking inquiries were sent via unvalidated mailto links with zero lead tracking, drop-off visibility, or database storage.
How We Solved It
- Engineered a custom React + TypeScript web application with instant client-side transitions and responsive mobile travel exploration.
- Developed an integrated, authenticated Admin Panel backed by Supabase with role-based permissions, relational tour schemas, and instant image bucket management.
- Configured Cloudflare CDN, edge asset caching, and global DNS distribution delivering consistent sub-second speeds internationally.
- Constructed real-time booking inquiry intake pipelines that validate inputs, store records in Supabase, and dispatch instant coordinator alerts.
